Support Group For Betrayed Partners
Sex addiction impacts many lives, yet the person reeling from the discovery and knowledge of a partner's sexual betrayal often feels very alone.
I provide the opportunity for betrayed partners to join together to share their experience, strength, and hope in a non-judgmental and supportive group. The group meets on Wednesdays from 7:30PM- 8:30PM on HIPPA Compliant Zoom Live Video Platform. We sign in to Zoom at 7:25PM. This is an open-ended group for clients I have worked with in my private practice and is by invitation only. The one non-negotiable boundary is that everything you hear or share remain strictly confidential.
Whether I am working with you or your partner individually, or in couples counseling, once I know you are feeling grounded and safe, I will offer you the opportunity to meet with others who are learning how to manage and cope with feelings and issues that may be similar to your own.
Feelings of fear, anger, hurt, rejection, abandonment, frustration, powerlessness, grief, shame, insecurity, and confusion may be creating chaos and destruction. With the support of those who have had similar experiences and are at different points of the healing process, you may feel heard, understood, and transformed by new perspectives, education, and hope that things can get better. As post-traumatic growth occurs you may experience growing feelings of compassion, understanding, self-awareness, and detachment with love.
Topics will be presented for each member to listen and reflect on and hopefully begin to feel safe enough to share their vulnerabilities with the group. Everything is done with the purpose of healing and finding your inner peace.
We also will occasionally have guest speakers come and share their expertise and knowledge with the group.Our group sessions have had the privilege of hosting esteemed professionals in the past, including:

Members of the group are free to contact and support each other outside of the group unless you ask me not to give out your contact information. There is also a contact list available via a live google doc that will be provided that is editable if you would like to join it.
For those who want to join the group, but are not clients of mine, I ask that you do one individual intake session with me, so that I can assess you are ready for group, to learn about your history and provide feedback, resources, and referrals.
